Before heading to my dinner at Weera Thai - Chinatown, I wanted to enjoy an appetizer at the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas before heading out. Especially, with the incredible sweeping views of the lights of Las Vegas from the 23rd floor.
Arriving at Hard Shake, I was impressed. The view – as promised – was beautiful.
I ordered the RAINBOW (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, spicy tuna).
When it arrived, I absolutely loved every bite. But strangely – what I loved the more – was the soy sauce. It was shockingly, unexpectedly delicious. It wasn’t the normal run of the mill Kikkoman – it was distinctively something else. I wanted to dunk every piece of sushi into it and savor it.
How does a restaurant elevate itself so much that even the soy sauce is memorable?
