If there’s one thing that I’ve learned about myself, it’s that I may play a game and endure a crappy situation once for a good price. But, I will upgrade for my comfort – if need be. So, after a rather painfully irritating flight from Los Angeles to Paris, I decided that my flight from Paris to Casablanca was going to be a much different experience.
So, after upgrading seating class on the way to the airport, I immediately had access to the international Air France Lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport once again.

Now, it’s key to know that the American Express cards and Priority Pass Lounge memberships do NOT give you access to Air France Lounge. It is based on airline status and ticket class.
It’s also fantastic to note that this was a much better experience at the Air France Lounge. The two buffets were full of absolutely delicious breakfast items. I devoured the selection of maidenliness, breads and meats.

Truly, my time at Air France Lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport made my flight to Africa one of the best I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing on Air France.

I arrived at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport so early, that even the duty free wasn’t open. But, the Air France Lounge was.
After stopping at Starbucks and getting a hot drink and the best quality sandwich I have ever had at a Starbucks (seriously, America) I made my way to the lounge.

Immediately, upon entering, I was pleased. The space was expansive and peaceful. I was able to watch the sun rise while reflecting on my journey through Italy and Paris.
