1 Hotel Toronto is a luxury eco-friendly hotel that combines nature-inspired design with sustainable practices and a focus on wellness.
When planning my stay in Toronto, there was only one place that I wanted to stay: 1 Hotel Toronto. After a week of traveling, I just wanted a space where I could walk in and immediately feel at home. Especially, after starting the trip at 1 Hotel Central Park.
Check In
After my rather longer than I mentally expected train ride from Rochester, I arrived at Toronto’s Union Station. Since I’d left Rochester a little before 3pm, arriving at 8pm after a five hour ride – with a passport check – just felt long. After a short Lyft ride from the train station, I arrived at 1 Hotel Toronto just needing – peace.

Opening the doors, I was immediately placed in a relaxed state of mind. After staying at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay and 1 Hotel Central Park, 1 Hotel Toronto just gave me comfortable peace. The neutral, earth tones allowed the stress of travel to simply slip away.
Check in was actually a pleasurable experience. I laughed, received recommendations for local restaurants and just enjoyed the comfort of being in a new city.
Room + Stay
When I got to my room, all I could say was “Yesssssss”.

It was spacious, beautiful and gave me space to relax and catch up with myself. So much of traveling is go, go – go. Here, in this space, I immediately started to feel the peace I’d been seeking.
I loved the floor to ceiling windows, the soaking tub and the warm welcome of the fruit plate and handwritten note. *chef’s kiss*
And the bathroom? Perfectly designed.

Overall
The location of the 1 Hotel Toronto was ideal, putting me within easy reach of all the vibrant spots I wanted to explore in the city. Whether I was headed to Jules Bistro or the Royal Ontario Museum, everything felt conveniently close, making my stay all the more enjoyable. I loved having dinner at Harriet’s Rooftop, overlooking the beautiful Toronto skyline.
Overall, my time at the 1 Hotel Toronto was nothing short of delightful. There’s something so comforting about knowing that, even in a new city, you have a serene space to return to—your own peaceful sanctuary amidst the city’s lively energy. It truly felt like a retreat in the heart of the bustle.
