& Waffles – Woodland Hills

Breakfast time at the Woodland Hills & Waffles location was a morning delight

Since my mom died, it’s been of increased importance that I find ways to spend time with my dad. Right now, it’s Sunday Morning Family Breakfast Time.

Now, I don’t know why older people like to eat breakfast at 8am. But, bright and early, there we were at & Waffles’ Woodland Hills location.

After browsing, I ordered the FRENCH TOAST COMBO (slices of french toast, 2 pieces of bacon & 2 sausages – sub fruit bowl for the 3 eggs) and a cup of COFFEE.

And yes, the breakfast was delicious. I loved the fat pieces of bread and the feeling that you’re getting value in what you pay for. As this location of & Waffles is larger than their North Hollywood location, it felt that you had room to sit and be – without over crowding someone else.

But more importantly than breakfast, is the fact that I got to spend yet another day with my dad, eat with him and tell him that I loved him.

And for me, that’s more important than anything else in this world.
