My visit to the now closed Tap House at Catamount Glass was a welcomed stop for lunch during my first visit to Vermont
Looking back on my trip to Upstate New York and Vermont, my first favorite memory is stopping at The Tap House at Catamount Glass in Vermont. Sadly, it’s now closed. But, my memories still remain.
When I landed in Albany, I felt the rush of adventure. I’d been to Manhattan plenty of times. But, the Adirondack Mountains and Vermont? Well, it was time.
After securing my rental car, the only thing left to do was eat as soon as possible. After a quick search, The Tap House at Catamount Glass in Vermont stuck out. Not to mention that I was kind of in awe that I was in Albany and going to drive to Vermont for lunch.
I ordered THE BEYONCÉ BURGER (House maple candied Vermont cheddar cheese, house switchback bbq sauce, onion rings, lettuce and tomato) and a beer.
It was absolutely delicious.
It makes me long for me to be able to revisit The Tap House. But, some memories and experiences are just for that time and not forever.
