A weekend stay at PlumpJack Inn was the perfect way to enjoy Olympic Valley in Tahoe, California
Staying at PlumpJack Inn during a lovely weekend in September was actual perfection. Arriving in Reno, we made our way to Tahoe. It was a beautiful and cozy drive up to the property complex.
The wide open space of land was just what I needed for a weekend away from Los Angeles.
Room + Stay
The room was clean and comfortable. It was the epitome of a contemporary and comfortable woodland area stay.
Location
The location of the hotel was visually delicious. Because of the late September time frame, it was a joy to go hiking and biking in the area. The first day, we took a pair of bikes from the Inn and did a quick 3 mile bike ride.
The area was absolutely gorgeous.
The next day, we also did a quick hike of the North Lake Tahoe Multi-Use Trail System in Squaw Valley.
Overall
Overall our weekend in Tahoe was visually delicious. The party was exceptionally well and overall – it just felt good to celebrate life and love.
And a lot of High West Whiskey.
