Felix Trattoria, founded by Chef Evan Funke, is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Los Angeles. Its dedication to the rich culinary traditions of Italy mixed with a contemporary flair creates a mouthwatering menu that is absolutely delicious.
When Johann and I decided to meet up for dinner, I was excited. When I opened and entered the doors of Felix Trattoria, I feel in love with the blues and browns of the interior design. It was a warm and inviting atmosphere that encouraged me to linger and savor each moment.

After enjoying a few sips of my cocktail, the SFINCIONE (focaccia siciliana, origano selvatico, sea salt & olive oil) arrived at the table.
This….. masterpiece of bread was …. exquisite.

Then, came the PROSCIUTTO E FICHI (prosciutto and figs). I was shocked by how delicious this was. It was incredible.
We order something else delicious…
The TONNARELLI CACIO E PEPE (black pepper & pecorino romano DOP) was an intimate relationship with my fork and taste buds. I will say that it feels different than at Mother Wolf.
Our main course of the BISTECCA DI MAIALE (Peads & Barnetts pork shoulder steak, Andy’s orchard peaches, lemon and basil) was outstanding.

Dinner at Felix Trattoria was truly a wonderful celebration of conversation and food in Venice, California.
