Eiffel Tower: Second Floor Experience with a Glass Of Champagne

The Eiffel Tower Second Floor Elevator with Champagne experience combines panoramic views with a celebratory glass of champagne for a memorable visit

After dinner at Comptoir Principal, Amy, Adrienne and I meandered around the streets of Paris, until we found ourselves at the back view of the Eiffel Tower.

There it was – the magic of the tower before me.

After watching the twinkling lights of the hour’d performance, we walked along the pathways and stopped at Mozza & Co Trattoria Caffe for Vin Chaud (mulled wine) and a Waffle (salted caramel).

I took a break from Amy and Adrienne and walked to the Seine. After a few more minutes, I rejoined for our timed entry into the Eiffel Tower.

The second floor strikes the perfect balance: high enough to see the sweeping layout of Paris, yet close enough to pick out its most beloved landmarks.

One of the highlights of the experience is the glass of champagne served at the dedicated champagne bar. It was a hunt trying to find it in the windy conditions, but we did.

What surprised me most was the atmosphere. Despite the Eiffel Tower’s fame, the second floor feels spacious and calm, especially compared to the more crowded summit. Holding a sparkling flute while looking out over Paris felt wonderfully indulgent – equal parts celebration and quiet gratitude. It was a small touch, but one that elevated the experience into something special.

As we descended down, we also walked around the dome on the first floor. It felt different than the ground floor – and truly finished the experience.

As I summoned my Lyft back to Hotel Eldorado Paris, I felt complete. My time at the Eiffel Tower was perfect.
