There are certain people who enter your life and make you wonder how you ever navigated things without them. When I first met James, I was seeking intuitive clarity for something beyond my own internal compass to help me sort through a situation that felt full of bullshit. What began as a session for guidance has since grown into a cherished friendship, with meetups that revolved around meaningful conversation and shared meals.
This time, we found ourselves at Della Terra: a cozy, unpretentious restaurant that felt just right for the occasion.

We started with the Chopped Salad (lettuce, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, salami and Provolone cheese). Because I’d mentioned to our server that we’d be sharing, it arrived already split onto two plates, which felt like such a thoughtful touch.

Next came the Salsiccia (homemade Italian sausage and tomato sauce), which was also delicious.
Our time at Della Terra was easy and grounding.
Nothing rushed, nothing performative.
Just real connection in a space that held us well.
