The Prince

The Prince is a popular late-night Korean restaurant and bar in Los Angeles’s Koreatown celebrated for its classic fried chicken, casual vibe, and well-filmed interior

When Angel suggested that we meet at The Prince, a Koreatown staple, for drinks and conversation, I was interested. I rarely go to Koreatown, due to how horrible the parking usually is. But, as I wanted to talk to him about using F&Bar - Atwater Village for a potential spot for a planned Eclectic Kim branded dinner, I figured - hey, why not?

Surprisingly, I found parking within 20 minutes of circling around. Walking in to The Prince felt like walking into a time capsule. This was a space that was – vintage.

As I sat at the bar to wait for Angel to arrive, I enjoyed a happy hour 50% off pour of Harland Brewing Japanese Lager (5%). It was crisp and hit the spot.

Once Angel arrived, we got to work ordering light bites for dinner. We settled on the HOT WINGS and the ALL-IN-ONE PANCAKE
(meat, sesame leaves & jalapeño peppers).

Needless to say, I was greatly surprised by how finger licking good everything was. I admit, I was skeptical. But wow, it felt good to be proven wrong.

While not a spot that I’ll visit again anytime soon, The Prince was an interesting spot that I’m glad to have been introduced to.
