After helping my friend Johan and his business partner prepare for the Eeze Natural Health launch party at the Pasadena Playhouse, I found myself in a conundrum. My parking spot, right in front of the Playhouse, was too good not to keep.
With an hour to kill before meeting Erik at baby bistro, I looked for a way to reset after a stressful day of meetings without moving my car. I wasn’t in the mood to shop, just looking for a calm place to decompress after a long day of driving and meetings. My eyes caught the storefront of Monopole by WineRx, a spot I had surprisingly never noticed before despite its proximity to the Playhouse.
Moments later, I stepped into the bottle-lined space.
Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the beautifully curated landscape of global bottles. I took a seat at the bar and settled on a glass of the 2022 Antonio Federici Roma Rosso, a smooth Central Italian blend of Cesanese and Montepulciano.
As I took my glass to nearby table, I was pleased. Monopole By Wine Rx was exactly the chill space I needed. Sitting there with my iPad and a great glass of wine provided a calming, much-needed moment of pleasure before heading to dinner.
