When Hilary and I were set to meet to talk about our joint venture – Bespoke Art Society – she suggested that we meet at Valley Ground Coffee.
When I arrived, I was completely shocked. I’d apparently driven by it plenty of times. But, had never really noticed it. That’s the thing about Ventura Blvd, there are so many shops close together that it’s only when you specifically are driving to one place – that you notice it.
After saying hi to Hilary, I set upon ordering.
I got a VALLEY GROUNDS LATTE (Rose, Milk, Espresso topped with real rose petals) and a Savory Pastry croissant filled with jalapeño and cream cheese.
Then, Hilary and I talked and she told me her choice in her part of Bespoke Art Society. And she will forever be the best person I could have ever gone into a joint venture with. But, I fully understand and support her decision to move forward with her own incredible art career through Hil Top Pots. It’s been absolutely a blessing to assist and help her achieve her goals during such a transformative year. And I look forward to what the both of us create, on our own.
Needless to say, Valley Grounds Coffee was a great place for being forced into a state of transformation and change.
However, though Bespoke Art Society is transforming into something new, I can say that the coffee at Valley Grounds Coffee is actually really good. The rose latte was creamy and fantastic; the vibe was right and I will always remember it as the launching point for the next phase of my creative life.
