Peaks Restaurant, at the top of Mount San Jacinto by way of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, provided a lovely lunch while overlooking Coachella Valley, outside of Palm Springs, California.
Perched high atop the majestic Mount San Jacinto in Palm Springs, Peaks Restaurant is a culinary gem that offers not just a meal but a spectacular dining experience amidst nature’s grandeur. The history of Peaks Restaurant is intertwined with the iconic Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, which has been ferrying visitors to this lofty destination since 1963.

After a short hike around the area, we sat for lunch at Peaks Restaurant.
½ POUND HOUSE BURGERS (PEPPER PORK ½ Pound of our House Blended Beef, Pepper Jack Cheese, Shredded Pork Short Rib, Fried Onions, Applewood Smoked Bacon with SEASONED SIDEWINDER FRIES) and a SMOKED CHERRY BOURBON (Hudson Baby Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Drambuie, Dry Vermouth, St. George Bruto Americano, Fresh Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, Cherry Bitters, Smoked Under A Dome) made it a lunch to remember.

Taking Tramway down, back into Coachella Valley, it felt wonderful to spend an afternoon in another world, just outside of Palm Springs.
