During my visit to Versailles (A Day in Versailles: A Train Ride from Paris, Touring Outdoor Markets and Bicycling Around Versailles), I was happy when we took a midday break from exploring on two wheels and went in search of lunch. Biking had made me hungry.
Craving something easy yet delicious, I chose to dine at La Flottille.
I ordered the Flottille martini (Vodka 42 Belore, liqueur de vanille, purée de fraise, jus de citron frais, jus de grenade, menthe fraîche).
Along with the La Flotille Fish & Chips (haddock fillet, tartare sauce, homemade French fries).
It was a lovely lunch at my little table for one, and it left me perfectly refreshed for the rest of my day cycling around Versailles.
