The Saint restaurant is a chic steakhouse in Dallas, Texas known for its elegant ambiance and expertly crafted steaks.
Wanting to experience a modern steakhouse, I decided to do a bit of research around the downtown area. After a few potentials, I settled on The Saint. It was a short drive from my hotel, had the most vibrant menu that looked delicious.
After noticing the much appreciated complimentary valet parking, I was quickly inside.
Now, I will say, The Saint is located in a former strip club. With this knowledge, I unconsciously noticed interesting flow and design of the space, due to this. But, The Saint was converted rather well into the space it now occupies.

After conversing with the wine steward, I ordered a glass of the Paolo Scavino Barolo 2019 a Nebbiolo from Barolo, Piedmont, Italy. This was a full, rich and delicious wine.
The presentation of the BONE MARROW FRIES (Ketchup, Charred Scallion Aioli) was .. in one word – absolutely scrumptious.
The star of the show, the 80z WAGYU BAVETTE “AU POIVRE” (with Brandy Peppercorn Sauce) from Wagyu-X in Midlothian, Texas was absolutely delicious. I loved the process of selecting my steak knife.

Dinner at The Saint was a lovely introduction to modern Texas steakhouse cuisine. It was exactly what I desired – full of flavor, unique and delicious – in a lux modern environment.
