The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea consistently ranks as a top rated, romantic restaurants - with a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean - in Wailea on Maui in Hawaii

First, I must say that the ambiance and design of The Restaurant is absolutely visually stunning. I’ve stayed at and dined at other Relais & Châteaux properties and The Restaurant is one of the best. I truly appreciated the landscape and architectural design that went into crafting such a beautiful multi level oasis.

It was a pleasure to walk from our suite to The Restaurant and see the dynamic change from day to night.

The grounds of Hotel Wailea are so lush and vibrant.

For the first course, I ordered the RICOTTA GNOCCHI (Black Garlic, Guanciale, Parmesan).

Second course, was the KONA MAINE LOBSTER (Parmesan Cream, Miso, Chives, Leeks, Preserved Lemon).

For dessert, the PINEAPPLE PAVLOVA (Maui Honey, Pineapple, Crispy Meringue).

During our dining experience, I noticed several points of lapses in service that I felt need to be addressed. The points were highlighted to the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage and handled in suitable manor. Nevertheless, the food and view of The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea is delicious and not to be missed.
