Dining at the The Locale Restaurant at Andaz Dubai The Palm was - after a week in the Maldives - a very welcomed treat - in Dubai, UAE
After arriving to the Andaz Dubai The Palm a bit earlier than our room was ready, I was excited to spend time at the Andaz Dubai The Palm. After all, we had a rather early series of flights from the Conrad Maldives to Male, Maldives and then from Male to Duabi. I was eager to see what the cuisine looked like at The Locale.
When I looked at the menu, I cannot explain in words the level of relief – giddiness even – that I felt in looking at the prices.
The DIM SUM WITH CONDIMENTS (Local Prawn Dumpling, Cheese and Mushroom Momos, Tandoori Chicken Momos, Zaatar Vegetable and Millet Flour Wanton Dumpling, Arabian Jewels – Mixed Seafood with Tobiko Pearls) was – with the conversion rate – $12 glorious, amazing, outstanding United States of American Dollars.
I also ordered a SALAD and a CHICKEN MELT.
Another thing I loved about dining at The Locale was the array of birds. I felt the same way, while having lunch at DUO at the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea in Hawaii. The local birds, perched on various plants was just so – cool. No other way I can say it.
Plus, buffet breakfast was a delight. When I asked for cream for my coffee, they served me warmed milk. And yes, the bacon is turkey bacon, NOT pork.
It was a delight.
