After a beautiful night at Dar Rihana Dades and experiencing the sights of the area (Into the Skoura Valley: The Dadès Gorges, Bara Essence Rose Water and Kasbah Amridil) - I was ready for an early check in and a comfortable stay.
As Kamal drove the Sprinter down a rather narrow road, I was extremely doubtful of where we were going. The landscaped looked like we were in the middle of no where.
But as Kamal skillfully drove us to L’Ma Lodge Skoura and we stepped out – I was immediately wowed.
L’Ma Lodge Skoura was an oasis in the desert.

Check In
Check in was a beautiful experience. We were led to a table and served light bites of cookies and dates, along with Moroccan mint tea.

Room and Stay
My room looked like it had been pulled straight from a postcard. Truly, it was one of the most gorgeous spaces I stayed in during the entire trip. It felt thoughtfully designed, was beautifully lit, and full of small touches that made me take a breath just to appreciate where I was.
It felt like a luxury oasis.

The pool was another moment. Framed by palm trees and open sky, I loved relaxing in a chair as Melanie swam back and forth.

And then the sunset – viewed from the rooftop of our lodging – was nothing short of stunning. The sky shifted through soft blues, deep oranges, and warm golds. Casting light across the palm tree forest, it was a moment that made me feel connected to the land.

Overall
L’Ma Lodge Skoura was a pleasure. It was one of the most gorgeous properties I’ve ever stayed at. Truly, the beauty of the space matched the comfort of the stay.
