Immediately after getting through customs, it was easy to spot my driver in the waiting area. My ride to Hotel Villa Caletas was smooth, comfortable and visually lovely. Costa Rica is such a beautiful country. My driver was friendly and I loved the fact that the van had WiFi.
On the return trip, my driver was extremely helpful. He taught me about the history of the county, the different regions and the Afro Caribbean influence in the coastal cities. Costa Rica is truly a melting pot, rich in history, culture and diverse backgrounds.
