After a lively night out with Ogden – a friend I’d first met on a recent trip to Mexico City – at Chopper Tiki Bar, St. Vito Focacceria, and Pearl Diver, it felt good to return to 1 Hotel Nashville. Yet one thought lingered in my mind: Ogden’s insistence that this hotel served the best espresso martini in all of Nashville.
Naturally, I had to find out for myself.
When the elevator doors opened, I was immediately struck by the beauty of the space. The design was sleek and warm, exactly what I’d hoped for.

I drifted toward the bar and struck up a conversation with the bartender, who explained the two versions of the espresso martini on the menu.
With a wink, the bartender made me the Biscotti Espresso Martini (Belvedere vodka, salted espresso syrup, FAIR Cafe topped with a biscotti foam).

So much so that the group next to me, mesmerized by the bartender’s precision, immediately ordered three of their own. After some friendly chatter and a polite goodbye, I carried my drink downstairs to my room, savoring both the flavor and the thought of the day’s beautiful unfolding of events.
