The Denver Botanic Garden is a modern, lush landscape full of delightful flora, fauna and pollinators galore
When Jessica suggested that I meet her at the Denver Botanic Garden to walk around with her mother and family friend, I was ecstatic and immediately said yes.
I hadn’t visited to the Denver Botanic Garden in literal decades. Plus, I was curious about how the garden’s visual direction had changed over the years.
Simply put, it was life giving. I absolutely loved capturing moments in the Garden from behind my lens.
Again – DO NOT overlook reciprocal garden memberships! If you have a membership to Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge or a similar botanical garden, you get complimentary entry into The Denver Botanic Garden!
I first realized this when I visited the San Francisco Botanical Garden in San Francisco, California last year. To gain complimentary entry to a reciprocal garden, all you need to do is walk up to the ticket counter, show your membership to your primary garden and request a reciprocal ticket.
Easy as that!
The Denver Botanic Garden has come a long way since I was in undergrad at the University of Denver. It has transformed into an incredible, highly walkable, lusciously landscaped space that was a pleasure to capture through my lens.
The pollinators showed up and showed out.
It was – simply put – visually stunning and a pleasure to behold.
