Daisy Dukes Cafe

Daisy Dukes Cafe gave me a welcomed cozy goodbye breakfast, on my last day of enjoying New Orleans, Louisiana

Finishing up my time in New Orleans, I settled on spending time with one of my favorite aunts with breakfast at Daisy Dukes Cafe.

Daisy Dukes Cafe was founded in 1989 by David “Slim” and Daisy “Mama” Plaisance. The cafe started as a small establishment in the French Quarter of New Orleans, serving traditional Southern dishes such as grits, biscuits and gravy, po’boys, and seafood platters. Over the years, it gained popularity among locals and tourists alike for its hearty meals and friendly service.

This was a simple affair, with BISCUIT & COUNTRY SAUSAGE GRAVY with COFFEE WITH KAHLUA serving as breakfast and an opportunity for us to connect.

It was a fitting way to say goodbye to the city I fell in love with during Mardi Gras.
