The bar at Cugino at The Hoxton Rome was a welcomed nightly respite from my busy days in Rome, Italy
After returning from a night out and a very long day of arrival, I was more than ecstatic to try a drink at the bar area, Cugino, as a nightcap.
After browsing the menu, I ordered the AEROPLANINO (Aperol, Amaro Montenegro, Martini Rubino Vermouth, lime juice).
A few days later – after returning from an afternoon in Florence I needed something to relax from the stress. The friend I was traveling with got off at the wrong stop in Rome, which led to her needing to walk 45 minutes back to the hotel.
I was worried and wanted to somewhat relax while I waited to physically set eyes on her.
Luckily, the bartender at Cugino created a delightful drink, based around the DICAPRIO LIMONCELLO, that I happily enjoyed.

Another awesome fact was that on Fridays and Saturday evenings, there is a live DJ that plays a solid selection of lounge music to set the mood.

While relaxing in the lounge, I listened to tracks by Purple Disco Machine and the song Go the Mile. It was – simply put, a great hotel lobby to relax, unwind and groove in.
