Café Crêpe, located at Outbound Mammoth hotel, is a lovely food trailer serving crepes and breakfast favorites, in Mammoth Lakes, California
One of my favorite things about staying at Outbound Mammoth is how close everything I enjoy about Mammoth Lakes feels. Café Crêpe is a short walk from anywhere you stay on property. So, from our suite, it was a short, snowy filled walk with Artemis to breakfast.
I browsed the menu with excitement. I started off with the BLACK FOREST (chocolate, cherry, with almond flavored whip cream).
Wanting something heartier to sustain me for my afternoon Adult Snowboarding School at Mammoth Mountain adventure, I asked what the best solution to my desire would be.
Back in the room, I unboxed the CREAMY CHICKEN AND MUSHROOM CRÊPE, and it was everything I hoped for—delicious, satisfying, and perfectly filling.

March 2024 –
After missing out on stopping at Cafe Crepe’s location in Big Bear before they’d closed for the day, I was delighted when I realized the same concept was located in Mammoth Lakes, at Outbound Mammoth.

I ordered the GOURMANDE (brie cheese, prosciutto, green apple and honey). Instead of a buckwheat crepe, I ordered it with a traditional crepe – and it was better for it.
To drink, I ordered the HONEY LAVENDER LATTE (honey, lavender with lavender whip).
Together, it was a match made in breakfast harmony.
It was exactly what I wanted.

I was so happy that even though I couldn’t get the crepe I wanted in Big Bear – I got it in Mammoth Lakes, instead.
