A stop at Cafe Bogard during a Eurostar train stopover was a delicious spot for lunch in Brussels, Belgium
With such a limited stop in Brussels on the way to London, I knew there wouldn’t be enough time to go to Delirium Cafe. Plus, the storage boxes were 15 Euro each. 30 Euro for some beer I could get bottled in the states wasn’t appealing.
Previously, I’d researched the train station to find a calm place to rest and found Cafe Bogard. So, we rolled our bags around Brussels Nord until I found it.
THIS was exactly what I’d been looking for.

Settling in, I immediately zero’d in on what I wanted. I double fisted the Tripel Karmliet (8.4%) (delicious) and had the Zinnebir (5.8%)
For a main, I ordered the BOGARD BURGER WITH FRIES as my side dish.
If there is pleasure, defined in meal, it was this.
As a special treat, before checking into Eurostar, I was able to stop at Chez Albert for a Belgium waffle, topped with cherry compote.

A few hours later, I was in my favorite part of London – staring at the beautiful neon sign of “I want my time with you” at London St. Pancreas Station.
