After waking up at The Wildbirch Hotel - JDV by Hyatt, we headed to the hotel restaurant for a grounding breakfast before a day of exploring Anchorage.



Seated by the windows, I started the morning with a warming cup of KALADI BROTHERS COFFEE. It was perfect, as we watched the snowy landscape unfold outside.


For my meal, I chose the BRIOCHE FRENCH TOAST (Whipped butter, bourbon-peach compote, toasted pecans, powdered sugar, and maple syrup). To balance the sweetness, I added a side of crispy APPLEWOOD BACON because, of course.


I also managed a bite of Onnik’s REINDEER SAUSAGE, which was surprisingly impressive and savory – a true Alaskan highlight.

Breakfast at Crimson at The Wildbirch Hotel was a great way to start the day before we ventured on to explore the Anchorage Museum.
