Dinner at Avery Brewing Tap Room and Restaurant was a great way to end the day - with good food and great beer - in Boulder, Colorado
Nestled in the vibrant city of Boulder, Colorado, Avery Brewing Company stands as a testament to the creative spirit and dedication of craft beer enthusiasts. Founded in 1993 by Adam Avery, this brewery has carved a niche for itself in the competitive craft beer landscape. From its humble beginnings in a small shed, Avery Brewing has grown into a powerhouse of innovative brewing techniques and bold flavor profiles.
Stepping into Avery’s taproom is like entering a world of beer exploration and experimentation. The aroma of hops and malt fills the air, inviting visitors to embark on a journey of taste and discovery.
The first order of the evening, the SMOKED PORK QUESO DIP (pulled pork, cheddar, asadero, tortilla chips, Pico de Gallo, pickled jalapeño), was absolutely delicious. I loved the flavor of the smoked pork and how generous the portion was. The jalapeños added the right amount of heat and flavor.
My DOUBLE BARRELED MAPLE STOUT (15.3% ABV stout aged in bourbon and maple syrup barrels with maple syrup, coffee, and cinnamon) went well with the FISH & CHIPS (white rascal battered cod).
Plus, he loved his order of MEAT ×3 (smoked pork ribs, beef ribs, chicken thigh, comatillo bbq, mustard bbq, buff sauce, fennel slaw, cornbread).
Our dinner and beer proved to me why Avery Brewing continues to be a beacon of creativity and quality in the craft beer scene, drawing visitors from near and far to experience the magic of their brews firsthand.
