Aqualani Beach & Ocean Recreation Rentals

Using Aqualani Beach & Ocean Recreation Rentals for beach chairs and umbrella rentals gave us a fun base to relax and play at Wailea Beach

When I originally booked Hotel Wailea, I assumed that we had an easy to access beach enclave to sit and relax at Wailea Beach. When my friend, Ted, raved about his stay at Hotel Wailea, that was one of the highlights he loved.

So, after breakfast at DUO at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, we made our way down to the beach towards the general direction of where we assumed it would be.

We found ourselves wandering Wailea Beach, looking for the expected Hotel Wailea service umbrella to get our beach chair and umbrella set up secured. Ted, during a previous trip, had raved to me about his combo of relaxing on the beach and going to the Four Seasons bar for drinks. However, the more we walked, the more I was at a loss.

I found myself placing a call to the front desk at Hotel Wailea for clarification on where to go. I was told they had stopped providing the service months prior.

After a brief hold, was then told that the hotel had arranged for us to have complimentary rentals with Aqualani Rentals, in front of the Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria property down from the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.

Once I secured the rental, we walked to the orange umbrella and informed the attendant of our rental.

With enthusiasm and friendliness, our attendant brought the umbrella and chairs and set them up on the beach.

This was absolutely lovely and the service I expected.

Sea turtles swam along the cascading waves. Happy beach goers walked up and down the beach. It was just – pure clean simple fun.

We stayed for hours, enjoying the sunlight and ocean tides.

When we were done, we simply gathered our belongings, called the front desk at Hotel Wailea for pick up and walked through the Grand Wailea to the front.
