After the drive to Fes from Chefchaouen, I was more than ready for lunch. As Kamal stopped the Sprinter outside a square in old Fes, I was excited for what was next up for us.
Rachid led the group the short kilometers walk to Culture Box, which was restaurant clearly designed for tourist travel. In that moment, that – along with their clean bathroom – was a very good thing.

After browsing the menu, I ordered a simple yet delicious combo of Lamb tagine with prunes and a glass of Fresh ginger lemonade.

It was delicious. I will say that I considered the camel on the menu. But, I honestly did not want to order a full dish of something that I may or may not like.
Overall, I loved the stop at Culture Box. It was a great welcome of calm to the bustling nature of Old Fes area of Morocco.
