After settling into our room at the Conrad Punta de Mita and letting the afternoon drift by, dusk began hovering over the horizon. The day’s oppressive humid head was finally beginning to ease.
Craving both a cocktail and a lingering view, I mapped out the evening: start with cocktails at Conrad’s Tuki cocktail bar, then walk over to Codex for my celebratory birthday dinner.
A quick elevator ride and a slow stroll through the airy lobby later. The space breathed with contemporary Mexican elegance, as we walked to the bar. Ordering, we walked out to the patio and found a perfect view of the Pacific Ocean.
I ordered the CATRIN (7 Leguas Blanco Tequila, Grand Marnier, basil, pineapple, black pepper). I greatly enjoy sipping my drink and enjoying the OLIVES and POPCORN.
Relaxing, as I watched the sun begin its decent, I found myself utterly content.
It was the perfect slow end to a beautiful day.
